(Memphis) The FBI is offering $100,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of Adam Mayes.

This brings the total reward fund to more than $170,000.

Most importantly, the FBI said having Adam Mayes on the Top Ten Most Wanted List is going to enlist its most powerful weapon against crime: the public’s help.

Since the top ten list was created 62 years ago, the FBI says it’s helped bring 465 fugitives to justice.

That is about 94 percent success rate.

Special Agent Aaron Ford told us the FBI along with the U.S. Attorney charged Adam Mayes with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and this charge gave the FBI the federal jurisdiction to use all resources possible to find him.

“As you can imagine, having your entire family ripped away from you is devastating,” said Special Agent Ford.  “I want to ensure law-abiding citizens, especially the Bain family, that the men and women of the FBI are working extremely hard day and night to locate the victims and bring Adam Mayes to justice.”

Special Agent Ford says the FBI believes Mayes could be anywhere across the country.

He had a message for the missing children 8-year-old Kyliyah and 12-year-old Alexandria that the FBI  is working 24 hours a day to bring them back home.

He also asked Mayes to turn the girls in to a safe location, like a church or a hospital.
