The Federal Communications Commission is considering sweeping changes, and it wants your input.

Right now, any company that owns television stations in America is capped — only allowed to serve 39% of the country’s households. But that restriction does NOT apply to tech companies like Amazon, Netflix and YouTube.

The National Association of Broadcasters says that isn’t fair – “no other industry faces the same restriction”.

The FCC, led by Chairman Brendan Carr, is considering eliminating the cap, among other restrictions. WREG’s owner, Nexstar, supports that move.
