MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  A fiery accident on Austin Peay and Old Brownsville Road caused traffic delays Friday afternoon. According to reports, a black vehicle went off the road and hit a pole which caused the transformer to explode. The driver of that car miraculously was not injured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol had Highway 14 blocked in both directions. MLGW was also there trying to reset the power.
