A neighborhood nuisance is closed after more than 100 complaints of drugs and gang activity.
Police said the corner store in Frayser has been a problem for years, and Tuesday it was finally shut down.
The 2-Star grocery mart on Dellwood was closed after the courts signed off on a temporary injunction Monday.
Police said their undercover officers purchased drugs here during a month-long investigation that began in March.
All told, they said they’ve responded to about 110 complaints from the public since the start of that investigation.
“We will continue to rid our neighborhoods of establishments like this, and we will not rest until we have done more of these,” Interim Police Director Michael Rallings said.
Officers said some of the drug buys they did occurred right in the presence of store employees.
