(Memphis) Mt. Zion Baptist Church shared it’s love with community members, by not only feeding their spirits, but also providing hot meals.
The congregation has served up free lunches every Wednesday for the past two months to anyone in need.
Associate Pastor James Eatmon told News Channel 3 Mt. Zion serves about 100 people each week and they are happy to do it.
“There is a great need in the Frayser. The community is under construction, its being resurrected and we would like to see it resurrected through Jesus Christ.” Eatmon said.
Mt. Zion also offers dinner after bible study each Tuesday night and a full breakfast each Sunday morning.
