(Memphis) Fred’s Super Dollar gave two area schools something to celebrate Friday.
The Memphis-based company presented checks for $1, 000 each to Bruce Elementary School and Central High School.
The checks were awarded to school officials during a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of its new store at 1290 Lamar Avenue.
