(Memphis) Hundreds lined up in downtown Memphis Saturday to fill up their tanks for free.

The Light of Glory International Church gave away free gas at the Exxon at Poplar and Danny Thomas.

Church members say they’re happy to help people struggling to pay their bills.

“Part of our vision at our church is to give back to the community. Outreach is one of the heartbeats of the ministry. When you’ve got a good group of people who believe in giving back, we can pull off things like this,” says Pastor Stephen Brown.

In addition to the free gas, the church also picked up the tab for people to ride on Mata buses.
