MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There’s good and bad news from the Memphis International Airport.

Starting this September, Frontier Airlines will end its direct flights from Memphis to Atlanta.

Frontier said low passenger demand is the reason they’re ending the three weekly flights. Memphis is one of 12 cities that will lose Atlanta service.

For the good news, high passenger demand is bringing back a daily flight to Denver.

Starting in mid-August, there will be flights from Memphis to Denver every day. Currently there are four weekly flights to Denver.
