MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Officer Terence Olridge will be laid to rest Monday after being shot outside his home Sunday, Oct. 11.

The visitation will take place Sunday, Oct. 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church Broad on 2835 Broad Ave.

The funeral follows the next day, Monday at noon, at the same location.

Memorial Park Funeral Home is handling the arrangements, and Olridge will be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Olridge is survived by his mother, Josephine Olridge, his daughter, Melia Olridge, and his fiancee, Shaleda Rozier. Rozier is four months pregnant with Olridge’s child.

Olridge was shot while off-duty on his way to work and died shortly after.

Lorenzo Clark is charged with felony possession of a firearm in relation to the shooting.
