OXFORD, Miss. — Funeral services were held Sunday for the black Confederate flag supporter killed in an accident near Oxford.

Anthony Hervey, 49, died July 19 after his SUV ran off Highway 6. A woman in the vehicle with Hervey said they were driving back from a Confederate flag rally when they were forced off the road by a silver vehicle.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol reconstructed the crash but could not confirm if someone actually hit Hervey’s vehicle.
