(Tupelo, MS) Funeral services were held for the Tupelo police officer killed in the line of duty earlier this week.

Sergeant Gale Stauffer and another officer were responding to a bank robbery call Monday afternoon.

Both men were both shot.

Sgt. Stauffer died that evening from his injuries.

Officer Joseph Maher is in stable condition.

There is a $150,000 reward for information about the people who killed one Tupelo police officer and seriously injured another.

Police have a person of interest in the case. They released a picture taken from a security camera from a convenience store near the bank that was robbed Monday.
