GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — The Germantown Police Department said the teen reported missing Friday night has been located.

Authorities said 16-year-old Sophya Ordonez was recently located and is safe.

According to police, Ordonez was last seen Friday night at her home in the 8400 block of Hundred Oaks in Germantown. She left early Saturday morning and has not been seen since.

Ordonez’s aunt, Angie Pgue, spoke with WREG-TV over the phone and said the family just wants her home.

“We love her. We want her home,” Pgue said.

Ordonez was described as being 5’6″, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray jogging pants.

Pgue said they are hopeful and just want Ordonez to return home safely.

“You hear about these stories and you just don’t think, ‘oh that could happen to me,” Pgue said. ” We just want to know that she’s OK. We’re not mad, we just want her home. We don’t have to get into the details right away we just want to make sure she’s home and most importantly that she’s OK.”
