Go inside the ‘X-Men’ mansion, now on sale for a cool $75 mil

We all have our own personal “dream home.” Now, a funny ad from Coldwell Banker gives you a virtual tour of your next potential abode — as long as you dream of having mahogany bookshelves, two dozen bedrooms and a random mutant or two roaming the hallways.

The spot is tied into “X-Men Apocalypse,” the upcoming summer blockbuster that stars Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner and James McAvoy among many others. The real estate brokerage company has a partnership with the flick that has yielded spots like this, but this special installment of the “Home of the Week” series brings the X-Mansion to life in perhaps the funniest thing to emerge from the “X-Men” series since Vinnie Jones started quoting Internet memes.

“Welcome to this very special episode of our Home of the Week series, where we step inside some of the world’s most incredible luxury homes,” says Tori Keichinger, the real life Brand Engagement Manager for Coldwell Banker.

Introducing the mansion, she says: “Located roughly 40 miles outside New York City, near its own private waterfront, Brickstone Lake, this lavish property offers homeowners the perfect balance of quiet, high-class privacy and convenient access to our nation’s most storied regions.”

The mansion is also listed for sale on the Coldwell Banker site, if you have a cool $75 million burning a hole in your pocket.

The tour includes Professor X’s study, as well as the “subterranean levels.”

“Perhaps two of the property’s most uniquely desirable features are its underground R & D lab, complete with a fully-functioning power amplification device,” she explains. “As well as a private underground jet hangar — perfect for those last-minute, unexpected trips.”

So, if you’re in the market for a new mansion (albeit, one that might have a few Wolverine-shaped holes in the wall), contact Coldwell Banker for all your real estate needs. Or, if the Xavier Mansion is a bit outside your price range, you can always rent the place for two hours when “X-Men: Apocalypse” hits theaters May 27.
