“GreenTech continues to bring jobs to Tunica and lay the groundwork around the country for a successful introduction of the MyCar to our sales network,” Charles Wang, founder and CEO of GTA, said. “From designers and engineers to quality supervisors and sales staff, we’re building a strong team of high-quality employees that will play a pivotal role in our mission to produce environmentally friendly, energy-efficiency vehicles at an affordable price.”

The company, once under federal investigation for its business practices, opened its doors in Tunic County this past October. The new facility manufactures the 2015 MyCar, a two-seat Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV).

“It is 100 percent electric car. It runs on lithium ion batteries. So, it’s a real special, fun car for big cities right now, for retirement communities,” plant manager Terey Agner said.
