(Memphis) NBA Hall of Famers Patrick Ewing, Elgin Baylor and NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown were recognized for their contributions to civil and human rights during the Memphis Grizzlies 11th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Day Monday.
Ewing, Baylor and Brown spoke at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Sports Legacy Symposium before they were presented with the awards during half-time of the Grizzlies game against the Indiana Pacers.
The honor pays tribute to athletes who have impacted human and civil rights through their careers in sports in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
