MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Good news for hungry Memphis Grizzlies fans.

The FedExForum and the team announced on Monday they have renewed their contract with the Rendezvous, making them once again the official BBQ at all Grizzlies events.

The Rendezvous had five locations inside the forum including a full-service location on the First Tennessee Club Level.

“We believe that coming to FedExForum and watching the Grizzlies while eating from Charles Vergos’ Rendezvous is one the iconic sports dining experiences in the country,” said President of Business Operations Jason Wexler. “Continuing our partnership with the legendary Rendezvous heightens our premium entertainment experience by bringing the best of local flavor and culture right to our fans and patrons throughout FedExForum.”

John Vergos, the co-owner of the iconic restaurant,  said he was excited about the contract renewal.

“We are proud of the way the organization represents our city and happy to continue to provide a taste of authentic Memphis barbecue to visitors to the NBA’s number one destination and to all visitors at FedExForum,” he said.
