MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies are trading long-time point guard Mike Conley Jr. to the Utah Jazz, according to multiple reports.
The Grizzlies are trading Conley for Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen and two future picks, the 23rd pick in Thursday’s draft and a first round pick in 2020, according to Shams Charania with The Athletic and Stadium. This trade was later confirmed by ESPN.
Conley later tweeted confirmation that he was traded.
The 12-year veteran will join a Utah Jazz team that will try to compete for a title next season. The team has been looking for a star point guard to pair with rising star guard Donovan Mitchell.
He has played with the Grizzlies his entire NBA career, starting in 2007, after coming out of Ohio State University. Conley leads the Grizzlies franchise in career games played, three-point field goals, assists, steals and points.
The trade becomes official July 6.
