(Memphis)  Memphis police are investigating gunshots fired outside the funeral for the victim in a deadly shooting on Beale Street.

Police responded to reports of gunfire near Promise Land Church in Frayser Saturday afternoon.

That’s where services were being held for Randy Williams, one of three people shot near Club Crave on Christmas Eve morning.

Memphis police say a 17-year-old was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon.

He could not be charged with firing the gun because the caliber did not match the rounds found near the church.

Police don’t believe anyone was hit by the bullets.
