HERNANDO, Miss. — A Hernando resident was sentenced to 10 years with 5 years to serve followed by 10 years of post-release supervision after he pleaded guilty to charges of child exploitation.
According to the Office of the Attorney General in Mississippi, 43-year-old Jeremy Gregg was sentenced Friday.
In addition to the prison sentence, he was ordered to $1,000 in fines, $1,000 to the children’s trust fund and register as a sex offender.
On Friday, Gregg admitted to owning several images and videos depicting child pornography.
On his computer he specifically searched for “pre-teen hardcore”.
“It is our duty to protect our most vulnerable residents and to make sure those who harm our children are held accountable,” said Attorney General Jim Hood. “We will continue to go after these predators to keep them away from our children.”
