MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton stopped in Memphis on Friday.

Clinton was taking part in her first campaign tour in Tennessee.

She was welcomed by over 1,400 supporters at Lemoyne-Owen College in the C. Arthur Bruce-Jerry Johnson Hall.

She spoke about issues like healthcare, equal pay and gun violence.

She even mentioned a recent officer-involved shooting in Memphis.

“I know there were cases right here in Memphis. I am well aware of the Stewart case,” she said.

Clinton will also stop at Fisk University in Nashville Friday evening.
