NEW YORK, New York — Consider yourself lucky if you’re gearing up for a holiday party at work.
A new survey shows many corporations are scaling back on their holiday festivities.
The executive firm Battalia Winston says 88 percent of companies will have a holiday party this year, but that number is down from 96 percent last year.
Almost 79 percent surveyed say they will not have a more lavish party this year, even though almost as large a portion saw business improve this year.
