NASHVILLE — Taylor Swift is known for drawing huge crowds, especially in Nashville.
However, this past Saturday, fans were let down; not because of anything wrong with the show, but with their tickets.
According to WTFV, hundreds of fans were turned away from the turnstiles at Bridgestone Arena because they had unknowingly purchased counterfeit tickets.
One such fan took to social media to try and catch the man who sold her the tickets.
Celeste Ford found six tickets for Saturday’s concert on the internet and contacted the seller.
He offered to give them to her for approximately $1,000, a bargain compared to other sites, and so she jumped at the deal.
It wasn’t until she had been standing in line trying to get in that she realized she had been scammed.
“I didn’t know if I was more mad about the money I lost, or the fact I wasn’t going to see Taylor Swift that night,” Ford told WTFV. “It’s definitely heartbreaking.”
Ford posted the man’s photo on her Facebook page to help try and catch him.
It also serves as a warning to others to be careful when making online transactions.
