MEMPHIS, Tenn. –WREG has learned more about the accident that caused hundreds of MLGW customers to be without power Wednesday night.
Witnesses told WREG the car was speeding down a street near Clark and Winchester when it hit the pole, causing a loud boom.
More than 774 people were without power in the Fox Meadow area.
The power was restored just before 10 p.m.
