(Memphis) Beefed up security was part of today’s St. Jude Country Music Marathon in Nashville.
Law enforcement authorities say they have no known threat for marathon, but they are taking extra precautions following the Boston Marathon bombings.
Runners were told they would notice a strong presence of officers and security from start to finish.
Typically an estimated 30-thousand runners participate in the event.
