MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Jerry “The King” Lawler will soon own a part of Beale Street.
The wrestling star is buying Flynn’s Restaurant and Bar at 159 Beale Street, his son Kevin Lawler told WREG.
His son said Jerry Lawler plans to turn the space into a wrestling-themed bar and grill.
There is no opening date set at this point.
In the meantime, wrestling fans can get their fix at two events this month that feature The King.
The March 11 Memphis Grizzlies game will have a wrestling theme and will welcome guests including Lance Russell, Jimmy Hart and Dave Brown. On March 24, Jerry Lawler will headline a Memphis Wild Fire Wrestling event at Minglewood Hall.
