SARDIS, Miss. — A circle of family and friends lit candles to remember Jessica Chambers and held balloons to honor the birthday she’ll never be able to celebrate.
“I love her. I miss her so much. Words can’t explain how I feel,” Ben Chambers, Jessica’s father, said.
Jessica would be turning 20-years-old on Monday.
However, Chambers was severely burned and killed on the side of a Panola County road.
“I’m angry. I’m hurt. It’s just everything,” Lisa Chambers, Jessica’s mother, said.
The Chambers family and friends are looking for answers.
“There’s just so much I would say to her, but I can’t,” Lisa Chambers said.
Investigators are working every day to figure out who committed the crime.
“You know maybe somebody will see this and see how we (are) hurting and stuff, and you know maybe might come forward,” Ben Chambers explained.

“It’s kind of like letting go and I’m not ready to do that,” Lisa Chambers cried.
Supporters of Jessica hope her killer is brought to justice.
Mississippi District Attorney John Champion told WREG there are no updates in the case, but investigators are working every day to solve the murder.
