LONG ISLAND CITY, New York — JetBlue Airways could be the first airline to use apple pay in flight.

That’s according to “USA Today.”

The mobile payment system by Apple was unveiled in September.

Starting next week, the publication reports JetBlue passengers can use Apple Pay with their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

They can use it to buy food, drinks and some on-board amenities once their plane reaches cruising altitude.

In-flight crew members will use iPad minis to process the charges.
