BEVERLY HILLS, Ca. — John Stamos has been charged with driving under the influence in Beverly Hills, California.

The 52-year-old star of “Grandfathered” faces one misdemeanor count of driving while under the influence of drugs, reports CBS Los Angeles.

On June 12, the “Full House” actor was driving alone in Beverly Hills when people told the police Stamos was acting strangely and driving erratically. Police arrested him and then took him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because of a possible medical condition. Authorities then confirmed that Stamos had been driving under the influence.

If convicted, Stamos faces a possible maximum sentence of six months in county jail.

Following his arrest, Stamos checked into rehab for substance abuse.
