JONESBORO, Ark. — Police in Jonesboro have issued a BOLO for a woman accused of beating her elderly grandmother with a glass bowl.
The alleged assault occurred on Monday in a home just off of Highway 349 in Jonesboro.
When Deputies with the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department arrived, the victim said 19-year-old Rachel Wells struck her with the bowl after the 60-year-old threw away her cigarettes.
Once she realized what she had done, she fled the area.
The elderly woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
