MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The jury has been selected for the trial of Chris Jones.

The jurors were chosen after a judicial error forced everyone to start from scratch Tuesday morning with an entirely new jury pool.

Jones is accused of murdering his wife, elementary school teacher Heather Palumbo-Jones.

Fourteen jurors, two of which are alternates, were selected.

Jones was very involved and vocal as his defense team questioned the potential jurors.

There’s a long witness list for the trial, and the judge wants them all called over the next two days so the case is in the jury’s hands for a decision Friday.
