MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged after allegedly cutting a 16-year-old during a fight Sunday morning at Frayser Elementary.

According to a report, officers arrived on the scene at 5 p.m. They were able to view cell phone video that showed several male and female juveniles fighting in the parking lot.

The male suspect was identified from the footage, which appeared to show him holding a box cutter.

A witness told police the male suspect and a female fled the scene in a blue Dodge Charger. He was later spotted at New Allen and Egypt Central and was taken into police custody.

Gregory Harrod is charged with aggravated assault in the fight. Police say he confessed.

The victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.

Memphis Police had earlier reported that the suspect in custody was a juvenile.
