SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Authorities have arrested seven juvenile suspects accused of stealing two cars, leading police on a chase and then bailing from the car after crashing it in Horn Lake.
According to police, five juveniles stole the first car somewhere in Southaven. Police spotted the vehicle on Goodman Road and followed in pursuit.
As they pulled over that car, police said another stolen car crashed into the officer’s cruiser. Police took the two suspects in the second car into custody, but the first car drove away into Horn Lake.
The group eventually stopped by a field on Goodman Road near Highway 51 and once again took off running. Police said they captured them quickly, nabbing three in the field and two across the street.
Southaven Police didn’t identify the suspects because they’re all juveniles.
