MEMPHIS, Tenn — Officials confirmed that Kate Bond Elementary was placed on lock down Monday afternoon for a short period of time.
The elementary school located at 2727 Kate Bond Street was placed on lock down after security officers had to remove a parent who became non-compliant.
The school was then placed off of the lock down after the parent was safely removed from the building.
