(New Bedford, MA) Former Memphis Superintendent of Schools Kriner Cash is a finalist for the same job in New Bedford, Ma.
Cash, who was one of six finalists interviewed last week, is one of three finalists for the job in the town which is about an hour south of Boston.
The three finalists will go through another set of interviews at the end of February.
Cash will be paid, by MCS, through the end of his contract in July.
He will also receive $17,000 in ‘moving and legal expenses.’
The New Bedford school district is about 1/8 the size of MCS.
