LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Kroger and Walmart stores in Arkansas announced they have recalled bunches of cilantro imported from Mexico.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, the FDA banned the food after inspectors found evidence of human fecal matter and toilet paper in cilantro fields in Puebla, Mexico.
THV11 reported doctors across the state has been put on alert to test their patients who come in with watery diarrhea for the cyclosporiasis parasite.
However, the Department of Health said it was still too early to know for sure if the food has caused any sicknesses here.
