CROSS COUNTY, Ark. — An elementary school in Arkansas was forced to lockdown on Friday after a man threatened to hurt one of the teachers.
Scott Hendrix was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening, a Class A felony.
According to the Cross County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call from Cross County Elementary at 9 a.m. saying Hendrix threatened to physically harm the teacher.
Following protocol, the school immediately went into lockdown and called authorities.
Hendrix was detained and transported to the Cross County Jail.
School officials said at no time were any of the students in any danger.
