MEMPHIS, Tenn. — He may only be 13 years old, but Moziah Bridges is already making a name for himself.

The Memphis native was named to the TIME‘s 30 Most Influential Teens of 2015 list, which was released on Tuesday.

Bridges is a good pick for the list, too.

In 2011, when he was just 9 years old, he started his own business, Mo’s Bows, after he couldn’t find cool bow ties to wear.

Using his grandmother’s scrap fabric, he began making his own, and the rest, as they say, is history!

Since then, Bridges has appeared on the show Shark Tank, supplied bows at the 2015 NBA draft and inked deals with Cole Haan and Neiman Marcus.

Mo’s Bows annually brings in approximately $200,000.

WREG’s Katie Rufener spoke with Bridges’ mother, who said she hadn’t even heard about the TIME article.

She’ll have an exclusive interview Wednesday.
