Local woman charged following high speed chase through Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis woman was arrested on Thursday following a police chase that went from Orange Mound and onto the interstate.

Kindra Shorter was charged with robbery.

A second suspect that was also arrested with Shorter has already been released.

Police are still looking for a third suspect.

Vehicles sped down Park Avenue but Officers said the situation got too dangerous and so they called off the chase near Hollywood.

However, the search for Shorter and the other two suspects didn’t end there.

Police got a call about an accident on Central and found the suspect’s car abandoned.

It was then Shorter and the second suspect were arrested.
