MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two women were left injured after deputies say they were shot Wednesday night in Millington.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrived at a home in the 7600 block of Bethuel Road regarding a shooting around 8:45 p.m. Two women were found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

Deputies say they began lifesaving efforts until Shelby County Fire arrived.

One of the women was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. The other woman was treated at the scene for her injuries.
