MEMPHIS, Tenn.– A 7-year-old boy was shot inside a South Memphis home on Wednesday night.

Police said suspects fired shots inside a residence near Mississippi Boulevard around 7:15 p.m.

The boy’s aunt said her nieces and nephews were watching TV when multiple shots were fired inside of the home. The boy was stuck once.

He was transported to Le Bonheur in critical condition.

The aunt said she was standing at the front door when she saw two males hanging out of a white Infiniti with handguns before the shooting took place, according to police.

Court documents say the woman informed police that one of the men previously shot up the house in July of 2021.

Police said Ring and SkyCop cameras possibly caught images of the suspects from Wednesday’s shooting but no arrests have been made at this time.

This is an ongoing investigation.
