MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police arrested the man they believe is responsible for shooting four people, killing two in January.
According to MPD, they responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of West River Trace Drive a little after 10 p.m.
When they arrived on the scene they saw the following:
- Male victim with 10 gunshot wounds; he was taken to Methodist North in critical condition.
- Female victim with multiple gunshot wounds; she was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
- Male victim lying face down with four gunshot wounds to his back; he was pronounced dead.
- Male victim lying face down with six gunshot wounds to his back; he was pronounced dead.
MPD found 31 shell casings at the scene, along with an empty extended 31-round Glock magazine in the kitchen.
A female witness said the incident happened at her home. She and the victims were having a party.
Reports state that the boyfriend of one of the party-goers pulled out a Glock handgun with an automatic firing switch and began shooting people inside.
He then fled the scene.
The witness identified the suspect as “Reeload.” During the investigation, it was found that his real name was Dartagnan Lee.

Lee is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. According to Shelby County Criminal Justice System Portal, this is his first offense.
He is schedule for a video arraignment on Monday.
