MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 5-year-old boy is in the hospital after an accidental shooting in Frayser Wednesday.
Memphis Police say officers responded to the shooting at a home in the 3500 block of Hallbrook Street.
The child was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in a private vehicle. He is in non-critical condition.
Police say the child was accidentally shot by a sibling and the gun was found near the home.
No charges have been filed.
