MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Collierville Schools board member has been charged with shoplifting from Target multiple times, Collierville Police said Wednesday.
Keri Blair, 43, who was elected in Nov. 2022, announced her resignation from the school board due to “family reasons” Wednesday.
Police say Blair is charged with theft of property less than $1,000. She was booked Jan. 5 and is free on $7,500 bond.
Blair is accused of taking items from the store seven times between Nov. 25 and Dec. 20. Police said Target is prosecuting.

The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen is working to appoint Blair’s replacement. Board chairman Wright Cox thanked Blair for her service to the community and her commitment to public education in Collierville.
