MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Saturday’s severe storms temporarily closed several roadways in Tipton County, Tennessee.

Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley released a list of streets closed due to flooding.

  • Lucado Rd.
  • Old Memphis near McCain
  • Old Memphis near Sawmill
  • Fayne Rd. at Cheryl
  • 2300 block Atoka-Idaville
  • 2800 block of Portersville
  • Hwy. 59W at Barton Ln
  • Hwy. 14 – 2300 block north of Hwy. 59 (south of 179)

Beasley says that deputies are working with Tipton County Public Works and the Tennessee Department of Transportation to divert traffic.

The sheriff says that if you see a flooded roadway, turn around and call Central Dispatch at 901-475-4300.
