Flooding closes several Tipton County roads

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Saturday’s severe storms temporarily closed several roadways in Tipton County, Tennessee.

Tipton County Sheriff Shannon Beasley released a list of streets closed due to flooding.


Beasley says that deputies are working with Tipton County Public Works and the Tennessee Department of Transportation to divert traffic.

The sheriff says that if you see a flooded roadway, turn around and call Central Dispatch at 901-475-4300.
