MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was injured in a crash on I-40 eastbound at Sam Cooper and Perkins Saturday afternoon.
According to Memphis Police, at 4:53 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle car accident on Sam Cooper and I-40.
One person was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
The eastbound lanes reopened after the scene was cleared around 9 p.m.
