MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting in Binghampton Thursday evening.

Memphis Police say officers responded to the shooting at Scott Street and Yale Avenue at 6:42 p.m.

The victim, identified by police as 52-year-old Adrian Goodrich was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information has been released.

Memphis Police Sgt. Louis Brownlee is pleading with anyone who may know anything about the attack, to act in good conscience.

“We’ve had a senseless killing. We have family that’s grieving on the scene. Somebody knows what happened. This did not occur in a vacuum, so we encourage you to do the right thing,” said Brownlee.

Police are urging homeowners and nearby businesses to check their surveillance cameras for any evidence that may help with the investigation.
