On October 30, Memphis Airport Police responded to a shooting at the FedEx World Hub located in the 2800 block of Democrat Road.

Officers located a male victim inside the North Tower with multiple gunshot wounds to the arm and chest. The victim said he was shot in the north end of the parking lot and drove to the North Tower after the shooting for help.

Video from FedEx shows three male suspects approaching the victim’s vehicle approximately 20 minutes before the shooting and looking through the glass of the vehicle.

In January, the victim appeared at Earnest’s court hearing and said he was shot twice, once in the arm and the chest, shortly after making it to his car.

He told the judge that right before shots rang out, he was actually talking with those accused in the attack.

When asked, the victim pointed at the alleged triggerman, saying in his words, it was “the dude behind the wall.”

The victim said he didn’t see the gun before it was fired, but he felt it on his shoulder.

Twin brothers Ja’Marcus and Ja’Marion Odell are also charged with facilitation of attempted second-degree murder.

Both are out of custody, released on their own recognizance.
