MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is listed in critical condition after being stabbed near the Midtown area Saturday morning.

Police responded to a stabbing call around 6:00 a.m. in the 1300 block of Union Avenue. Jessica Price was at Davita Memphis getting a dialysis treatment when a man ran to the facility bleeding, saying he was stabbed.

A doctor told WREG that she saw the man bleeding from his neck. He was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Witnesses said the man was running for his life and ran towards a medical facility that happened to have an ambulance standing by. Paramedics began working on the man trying to save his life until police arrived.

No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
