MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were injured in overnight shootings in East Memphis and South Memphis, Memphis Police say.
Officers say they responded to the first shooting at a home in 1200 block of Foxcroft Street just before 2 a.m.
One person was found at the scene suffering from injuries. Reports say he was grazed when a car drove by his home and began shooting while he was sleeping. He was taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.

Another shooting took place around 10 p.m. at an apartment complex at 120 Goodloe Avenue. A woman was taken to Regional One in critical condition.

The woman told police she was getting out of her car when she noticed a red sedan parked in the corner of the lot. She then heard gunshots coming from the car and realized she had been shot in the ankle area.
